Painted Feather Goats Sales Policy

We strive to breed healthy and well bred (pedigree) goats that are a good representation for their breeds.  No goat will be sold as "show quality.”  Every goat has conformational strengths and weaknesses. Show ring success is strongly influenced by how the goat is managed and how the goat is shown to it's best advantage. Obviously, a breeder has no control over those factors.

Pricing of kids is determined by lineage, conformation, show wins and potential.  ADGA Nigerian Dwarf does start at $450, ADGA Nigerian Dwarf bucks start at $350. Visual assessment of a kid, once it is born may change the price. Those on the reservation list will be given the posted price. Pricing of adults will be based on individual performance and lineage.  Some bucklings are sold as pets, without a registration application for $150 & up.  We reserve the right to retain any kids born here.  If we decide to keep a kid that has a deposit on it, we will put the deposit toward another kid or refund it.

Since we feel our animals are fairly and reasonably priced, We do not offer multiple goat discounts. We don't do deals, kid back agreements or payment plans.

Kids go home with ADGA registration applications. Any ADGA registered goat can be reregistered with AGS and NDGA. Triple registered goats are worth no more than ADGA registered goats.   If you want to show in AGS or NDGA shows, then you would need those papers, which you can get by sending in an application for that association and a copy of the ADGA papers.

We love our goats and want them to have the best life possible and their new owners to be happy.  We will be available for you for questions when you need us (text or email the best way to reach us).  If you have a serious health issue and cannot reach anyone else, please call a veterinarian.
